At Grandview Dental Care, we prioritize your comfort above all else. That’s why we are so excited to offer same-day crowns, powered by CEREC®. With CEREC® technology, we utilize cutting-edge digital imaging and CAD/CAM software to create precise 3D models of your teeth, eliminating the need for messy traditional impressions. This allows us to design and fabricate your custom crown right here in our office while you wait, ensuring a perfect fit and eliminating the need for temporary crowns. Plus, CEREC® crowns are made from high-quality ceramic materials, providing durability and a natural appearance that blends seamlessly with your existing teeth. With same-day crowns powered by CEREC®, you can enjoy a restored smile in just one convenient visit, without the hassle of multiple appointments or long wait times.
How It Works
- We capture an image of your tooth with a digital scanner.
- A 3D model of your teeth and the new restoration are created on the computer.
- The restoration is then fabricated from a ceramic block on our milling machine, right in our office.
- The dentist places the custom-fit restoration a short time later, during the same visit.
Nervous About Your Dental Visit?
At Grandview Dental Care, we offer IV sedation during our procedures to ensure your experience is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. With IV sedation, you can remain deeply relaxed throughout the entire appointment, even for longer treatments. This advanced sedation option is ideal for patients who experience dental anxiety or simply want a more comfortable experience. You’ll feel calm and at ease as we use cutting-edge CEREC technology to craft and place your custom dental crown in just one visit. Dr. Abraham Hoellrich is highly trained and certified in IV sedation, ensuring your safety and peace of mind throughout the entire process.
What Is IV Sedation?-
What is a dental crown?
Dental crowns are used when a tooth has a very large filling that exceeds the natural tooth structure, your tooth had root canal therapy, or for cosmetic reasons. Dental crowns have many applications. The first is to be installed over a damaged tooth to cap the existing structure, which restores the damaged tooth so it can be used normally. Crowns can also be attached to dental implants to replace missing teeth; these implants will be surgically inserted into the jawbone and serve as the root for the tooth. This procedure keeps the crown steady and secure.

What type of restorations can be made with CEREC®?
Ceramic Tooth-Colored Restorations
Unlike ordinary traditional materials, ceramic fillings offer higher quality and a natural tooth-like color, which makes them popular with our patients.
If you have chipped or discolored front teeth, ceramic veneers are a great, natural-looking solution—and using this system, they’re also more convenient.
Ceramic Crowns
They offer a lasting repair for a damaged or decayed tooth that virtually eliminates the gum irritation and impaired taste that people often experience with conventional metal crowns.
