How to use your teeth whitening trays
Becky | February 10, 2014So you got whitening trays from your dentist and you are ready to get started on your brighter, whiter, smile. But you forgot what they told you at the dentist and you are a little confused on how to start. We made this video about whitening your teeth to help!
Whitening your teeth is the easiest, fastest, most economical why to improve your smile.
How effective any tooth whitening procedure is depends on these 3 things:
• The concentration of peroxide in the whitening gel is not strong enough, your tooth whitening results will be less than satisfactory. The concentration of peroxide solution in our take home whitening is greater than that found in over-the-counter products.
• If the whitening gel does not stay in contact with the teeth long enough, it will be not effective. Custom-fitted trays help to hold the whitening gel evenly against the teeth, making trays far more effective than over-the-counter whitening strips.
• The color of the teeth before whitening takes place is another factor that affects the end result. The darker the color of the teeth, the longer it will take to get the whitening results you desire.
