A new patient's first appointment in our office is about an hour and includes:

• An interview with the Doctor to determine want you want for your smile
• A discussion of past dental experiences
• A comprehensive exam of your mouth
• A discussion on the possibilities for your smile and dental care
• Answers to your questions about your dental health
• Plan of action for the next step in your dental care
• After the Dr. has had the opportunity to diagnose the condition of your mouth, we schedule an appointment for your most urgent need which in most cases is your cleaning
• Why isn't your first appointment a cleaning?  Since we haven't met you we don't know the condition of your dental health so we do not know how long of a cleaning appointment to schedule.  Once we know we can schedule appropriately so we won't run behind schedule, and you aren't stuck waiting.
