Kate started her Invisalign treatment in April of 2010 and she recently completed treatment.   The end of the video shows a short video clip of Kate’s Smile before Invisalign and Kate’s smile after Invisalign.  Kate”s recommendation to Columbus Invisalign patients is to have someone take a brief closeup video  of yourself talking before you start Invisalign.  In Kate’s particular situation having the video was easier to highlight how Invisalign corrected her smile. My treatment plan was originally 8 months, but it will now likely be 10-11 months. In this segment I share some of the things that I’ve learned since my case started. I had to have new impressions taken because my front teeth not aligning as well as Dr Thompson thought they would at this point in my treatment. New aligners are on order, and my case will probably take a little longer then anticipated. I’m ok with that, since the front teeth are the most visible part of my smile and the primary reason I elected to do Invisalign. I’ve got no real complaints so far. I do however, find myself noticing other peoples’ teeth and thinking that they should really get look into getting their teeth straightened. I’ve changed to my second set of aligners and will even let you see me pop the top ones in.  Switching to the second set reminded me of going to the orthodontist to get my braces tightened, except this was self inflicted.  Slightly painful, but the pain and pressure subsided within a day.
