What is your favorite restaurant in Grandview? Sweet Carrot.
What is your favorite (family or otherwise) activity in Columbus? Golfing has always been something I’ve enjoyed. Earlier this year, me and my roommates went to TopGolf and I loved it! So much fun!!
Favorite thing about dentistry? I love how everyone’s smile is different and unique. No two smiles are exactly alike, so it’s a new challenge with every patient who walks though the door.
How did you come to work at Grandview Dental Care? I was in need of observation hours for my dental school application last summer. But rather than just observing the procedures, I was interested in learning all the aspects of the dental field: from the clinics to the office work and business side of things. Grandview Dental Care took me on as an unpaid intern where I was able to observe the dentists as they worked and also see first-hand how the business team runs things. And at the end of the summer, Grandview Dental Care decided to keep me on as a paid employee.
Where do you hope to travel to one day and why? I would like to travel to Alaska or anywhere I can see the Northern Lights.
What is the one gadget or piece of technology you can’t live without? And why? Definitely would not be able to function without my TV. If I wasn’t able to binge my tv shows or watch movies I think it would quite literally be the death of me.
What’s the best part about your job or working at Grandview Dental Care? The best part about my job is all of the information I’ve been able to absorb.
Why did you decide on a career in dentistry? The field has always been in the back of my mind, but what really solidified it for me was when I fell and chipped my front teeth my senior year in high school. I remember feeling embarrassed about my smile and not wanting to go out or smile in public. I also remember my dentist seeing me right away and fixing not only my teeth, but my broken self-esteem as well. That day I decided I was going to major in Biology at Ohio State and pursue a career as a dentist so that one day I could help people in the same way that my dentist helped me.
What’s your favorite food? Or your favorite Meal? I’m a sucker for literally anything with peanut butter in it.
What is something that makes you smile? Visiting and talking with my grandparents has always put the biggest smile on my face.
Tell me about your pet(s) I have one dog named Sophie. She is an 8 year old malti-poo who has recently gone blind. And although I shouldn’t, I can’t help but laugh every time she runs into something.
