I am so glad that I tried IV Sedation. I had been putting off some dental treatment because I was anxious about sitting through the entire appointment all tensed up and I had a "bad" dental experience years ago. When I heard about IV Sedation I thought "this is for me". I was a little unsure about what to expect with IV Sedation but the sedation was gradual and comfortable. During my appointment I was totally unaware about what was going on. After the appointment I felt great... Really! I spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and napping and was back at work the next day. Dr. Thompson and his team were great! Thank you!

On 10/15/2007 I was in severe pain from what was later diagnosed as a tooth abscess. I had no family dentist and was in search of one. I remember how inviting the landscaping and the Grandview Dental Care office looked so I called. They were able to get me in right away to determine what was causing my pain. Once meeting the front desk staff, I immediately felt at ease and comfortable – you see – I have always been terrified of any/all dental work. Today (10/17), Dr. Thompson completed work on the problem tooth and I feel compelled to say that in 50+ years of dental care, this has been by far my most positive dental experience! I love my Lumineers! Both Kay and Sarah were great. Kay did a tremendous job explaining dental hygiene and insprired me to floss and rinse everyday.
