Beth Hay
Hi, my name is Beth Hay and I have worked at Grandview Dental Care since 1998. Instead of hearing my voice on the phone to schedule your appointment, you will see me to schedule your treatment and go over financial arrangements. I am passionate about helping patients understand why they need the treatment recommended and providing flexible payment options for every situation.
I live in Grove City with my children, Josh and Megan. My daughter was diagnosed in 2008 with Type I Diabetes. I am always looking for valuable tips and recipes’ for diabetics. Please feel free to stop and share any information with me.
Fun Facts About Beth
How did you come to work at Grandview Dental Care?
Networking…a friend that I worked with at my previous job met one of the girls that worked here at church. They started talking about where they worked and she said that Dr. Thompson was looking for someone to hire. After describing the job, my friend said I have the perfect person for you to interview. That was in 1998. The other part of the story…I was going to lose my job because of downsizing. It couldn’t have been a better time for Dr. Thompson to hire me and look, I am still here!
What is an interesting place you have visited and why was it so interesting?
The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. I am not a huge baseball fan, but it was really cool. They have so much stuff that it takes you all day to see everything. I don’t know if we really saw everything, but still.
Where do you hope to travel to one day and why?
I want to travel and see all the national parks in the US. I have been to a few and they are beautiful. I really want to take the train from Denver and travel up to Yellowstone. There is so much to see across this country and we only see what is in our backyard. I need to expand my horizons.
When you were in grade school what did you want to be when you grew up and why? (if you can remember)
I wanted to be a legal secretary. My senior year of high school, I got a job with a family friend who was an attorney and worked for him. After graduation, I turned in my notice and found a new job at an engineering firm. I guess being a legal secretary wasn’t my cup of tea. Besides, I would not have had the opportunity to work at this office.
