My name is Anita Elking. I am a part-time hygienist at Grandview Dental Care and have worked with Dr. Thompson since 1990. I enjoy being a dental hygienist because it gives me an opportunity to provide and maintain quality dental health care services.

I reside in Grandview Heights with my husband Rob and our son Philip.

For a cheap meal in Grandview you can’t beat DK Diner on 3rd ave. Yummy food and always someone to chat with.

Where do you hope to travel one day and why?

My bucket list of travel includes going to the tennis Grand Slam events.  Australian Open in Melbourn Australia. The French Open played at Roland Garros in Paris France. Wimbelton in London England and of course the US Open in New York, New York!

When you were in grade school what did you want to be when you grew up and why?

I always wanted to be a dental Hygienist. My dentist growing up always had the best toys! Guaranteed to last until we got home!

Favorite Animal?

I am Leo the lion – cats are the best!  Independent, selective, and loving!

What Question do you hear the most from patients?

My patients ask about the brand of toothpaste they should use and do I really need to see the dentist today?  Answer will follow shortly…. after Anita gets back from a trip…..
